And of course, last but not least, Whitney Houston's album "I Look To you" is the #1 album in the world, according to her website. CONGRATS NIPPY! ;)

Just a bit too much hun. . .

I know this is completely wrong but...it's way too funny, and there was NO way that I was going to let this go without posting it!

Lloyd Leaves The Inc//Whitney Houston//

& in case you weren't aware...

IN STORES & ON ITUNES NOW!!!

NEW MUSIC. ROSCOE UMALI & AUBREY O'DAY - NEVER FALLIN.

NEVER FALLIN

I actually like this track better than her & Shanell's version of "Party All The Time". It's so catchy to me. I just can't stop listening to it. Aubs is giving off a little sneak peek of what she has to offer, solo wise. I love the hook, her verse, & the end...lol. The rapper Roscoe? Not so much. But much props to him! If another rapper or even singer could be featured on this song w/ Aubrey, who would you prefer?

NEW MUSIC. DRAKE//KANYE WEST//LIL WAYNE//EMINEM - FOREVER.

FOREVER

New music from Drake ft. Kanye, Wayne & Eminem. Pretty hot! C'monnnn Em! Four of the hottest rappers of OUR time! Funny, because they're all my favorite rappers. Although Jay's not apart of it...but ya never know! The song will be available on iTunes Friday, August 28th, 2009!

NEW MUSIC. JOHNTA AUSTIN.

Johnta Austin - 10 Love Commandments

Recording artist; Johnta Austin aKa Johnny Sinatra of Ocean's 7. For those of you that don't keep up w/ Jermaine Dupri, they've created a group named "Ocean's 7" which includes JD, Johnta Austin, inTYnational (Tyrone), Trey Songz, Usher, Nelly & Bow Wow. You can catch them in the studio & doing other "Ocean Boys" type things on youtube.com/JD1472 and JD's blog Global14.com Pretty interesting conversations and such. Get familiar!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WHITNEY HOUSTON!

Aug. 09, 2009

A very big & SPECIAL happy birthday to the one and only, my favorite singer in the WORLD...my fellow Leo...Miss Whitney Houston! Happy birthday Nippy! =) =) =)

NEW MUSIC. TEYANA TAYLOR.

Nicki Minaj, Teyana Taylor & Lil Wayne - I Gets Crazy (remix)

For those that may not know, Teyana has been adding a verse on many songs lately. Latest one has been "Swag On" along w/ Lil Kim & Keri Hilson. This "I Gets Crazy" (originally Nicki Minaj ft. Lil Wayne) one has to be my favorite so far. The beat is hot as well. It's a pretty good look, & a better look if she releases a mixtape before her album From a Planet Called Harlem is finally released. I like her flow, just like on "Swag " (her own song). Big ups to TT!

Lessons of the Day: Who Has HIV/AIDS & Who Gets Robbed.

Lesson 1; The first video I came across features young actress Gleendilys Inoa, who can be seen in Karina's "16 @ War" video, & other Independent Films such as "Don't Let Me Drown" & "A Kiss of Chaos". She's also featured in this important PSA/short film she did based on HIV/AIDS. Yes, I know many of you are adults/young adults, & you've gone through this in school, but it never hurts to watch again. We say we know these things but still do it anyway. Even though we've "learned", we've never really LEARNED. It takes you getting HIV/AIDS to REALLY learn. We don't want to get that far. Let's smarten up so we don't have to live life DEAD. One of the most horrible things you can do in life...
Peep the video: Class in Session. (2 parts)

Lesson 2; here's how you can EASILY get robbed. You may NEVER leave your bag/items unattended, but you can slip up that ONE time out of being courteous. Peep the video:

NEW MUSIC. AUBREY O'DAY & SHANELL (SnL)

Aubrey O'Day & Shanell (SnL) - Party All The Time (remake)

Chris Brown Fills in for Drake.

As many of you may have learned by now, Drake collapsed on stage just a few days ago. Many of you also may know that Drake tore his ACL 2 months ago. He was under strict orders by his doctor to not perform due to his condition. Drake didn't want to disappoint his fans, so he performed anyway.
For the first time since Chris Brown's incident w/ ex-girlfriend Rihanna, he hit the stage (no pun) w/ Lil Wayne & Yung Money, filling in for Drake as they performed "Every Girl" in Virginia Beach. Check out the footage.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.

Shout outs to MYSELF! July 24th, 1986 at 5:33am, melodiqSOUL was born. =)

NEW MUSIC. JAY-Z FT. KANYE WEST & RIHANNA.

Jay - Z ft. Kanye West & Rihanna - Run This Town (clean)

NEW MUSIC. DRAKE.

Drake - The Winner

"The Winner" is a new song leaked from Drake's upcoming debut album "Thank Me Later". I likes. But are we going to hear "*tink, tink, tink* the business (echoes)" on all of his songs? Just saying. Only like/used to it on "Every Girl". I thought it was just for a certain mixtape, but it's clearly audible in the video (Every Girl) *shrugs*

RIP MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON

1958-2009

Sorry for the delay, been very busy. Going to keep this short. Really no need to go into depth with this one. Everyone has already felt the wrath. May the King R.I.P, & may God bless his family.

Damn it Whitney!!!

For all the Whitney stans like myself, I'm sure you know by now that Nippy's album should be released on SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2009! For everyone that KNOWS me. . .you know how elated I am. I'm actually typing as calm as I can, trying to compose myself, but my heart. . .it's going crazy!!! hahaha. Can't wait. 75 more days! Enjoy the video rewind! =)

*sighs* makes me want to run back to SONY & work for them. =/

You be the judge on this "nigga".

NEW MUSIC: JOJO...again. =)

JoJo
25 to Life

I guess Jojo is going in that mixtape/leak/Trey Songz direction like I predicted, which is cool. I enjoy her music. Loved her first album. Here's another song that was leaked this week from JoJo. No word if it's just an unreleased track, or if it will be on her upcoming-waiting-to-be-released-album "All I Want Is Everything". (click on the title of the song to retrieve the song...of course) =)
